Tuzun (amir al-umara)

Abu'l-Wafa Tuzun[1] adalah seorang prajurit Turki yang mula-mula bertugas di bawah penguasa Iran Mardavij bin Ziyar dan kemudian Kekhalifahan Abbasiayh. Bangkit ke posisi pemimpin dalam angkatan darat Abbasiyah, ia mengusir Nasir al-Dawla dari Baghdad dan meraih jabatan amir al-umara pada 31 Mei 943, menjadikannya penguasa de facto Kekhalifahan tersebut. Ia memegang posisi tersebut sampai ia meninggal pada Agustus 945, beberapa bulan sebelum Baghdad, dan Kekhalifahan Abbasiyah, jatuh ke tangan Buyiyah.
